Action Items - Email Notifcations

What is an Email Notification? 

A Preact action item that delivers messages in real-time to any user of Preact. An email notification is delivered when a workflow has been kicked off by a trigger. Find out more about other action items such as tasks and alerts.

1. Name, Segment, and Select a Trigger

In this example, we will use a Time-based trigger for customers on the Pro Plan with an annual contract, "QBR #1 - Annual Pro Plan". Click to learn about Time-based, Manual, Smart, and Event Triggers. 

2. Choose Recipient 

Send an email notification to the designated Customer Success Manager, Sales Rep or a specific user. In this example, we will send an email notification to the specific user, Christopher Gooley, every time an Annual Pro Plan account is up for their first QBR.  


3. Write message

4. Receive Email

Immediate notifications right in your inbox. Click through to the Preact Portal or Salesforce to view the account. 

5. Create another step? (Optional)

You have met the minimum requirements to create a workflow (Name + Segment + Trigger + 1 Action Item). Add another step to your workflow. Click here to learn more. 

6. Add additional action items (Optional)

Enhance your workflow by adding additional action items such as tasks, alerts, or more email notifications.
