Workflows - Smart Trigger

What is a Smart Trigger?

A trigger that is activated when there is an increase or decrease in the Preact Health Score or Preact Activity Score. Click to find out more about event, manual, and time-based triggers. 

1. Name your Workflow

We recommend a descriptive name that includes information about the trigger + the user segment.  In this example, we will create a smart trigger specially for customers on the Pro Plan with an annual contract, "Health Dropping - Annual Pro Plan." 

2. Select a User Segment

We created a custom filter in order to segment out users on the Pro Plan with an annual contract. We did that with our custom filtering feature. Learn more about that here

3. Choose a Smart Trigger

From the drop down menu choose 1 of the 4 options for a smart trigger. For this example, we chose "When Account Health drops" (aka - when the Health score drops). 

4.  Select # of Points

Specify how many points the Health or Activity score must change before the workflow is triggered. The smaller the number the more sensitive the trigger will be. We recommend starting off at an increase / decrease of 20 points, which is what we will do in this example. You can always go back and adjust. 


5. Add Action Items
